Life Guard - Swimming Pool

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all swimmers and visitors at the pool by preventing accidents, responding quickly to emergencies, and maintaining a safe and clean swimming environment. This role requires constant alertness, strong swimming skills, and knowledge of rescue and first aid procedures. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Monitor swimmers and pool activities to ensure safety and compliance with pool rules. • Prevent accidents by enforcing safety regulations and educating pool users. • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues, CPR, and first aid. • Perform routine inspections of the pool area, equipment, and facilities. • Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of the pool deck, chairs, and safety equipment. • Report hazards, maintenance needs, or unsafe conditions to management. • Participate in regular training and emergency drills. ⸻ Qualifications & Skills: • Valid lifeguard certification • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (current). • Strong swimming and rescue skills. • Ability to stay alert, focused, and respond quickly under pressure. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Physically fit and able to handle rescue situations.
