A homeroom teacher acting as their primary contact for academic and pastoral care, responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering lessons (often core subjects), tracking progress, communicating with parents, managing daily classroom activities, and ensuring students adhere to school policies while fostering their overall well-being and development. Key duties include lesson planning, assessment, managing attendance, supporting diverse learning needs, building community, and liaising with other staff and parents.
