Job description

PACE Modern British School is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Secondary Physics Teacher to join our Secondary team. We welcome applicants of any nationality who bring proven experience delivering the British curriculum at Secondary level (KS3, IGCSE, A-Level). The successful candidate will inspire scientific curiosity while driving strong academic outcomes and exam results. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the British National Curriculum (KS3, IGCSE, A-Level as applicable) Prepare students effectively for external examinations (IGCSE/GCSE/A-Level Physics) Design and supervise practical experiments, ensuring lab safety protocols are followed Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry-based learning Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL students Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic performance Collaborate with the Head of Science and Secondary SLT on curriculum planning and moderation Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress Participate in school events, staff meetings, and CPD sessions Uphold KHDA and school safeguarding policies at all times
